Arsenal Football Club has unveiled its third kit for the 2025-26 season, a striking design that pays homage to one of the most iconic chapters in the club’s history – the final season at Highbury. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Arsenal’s farewell to their historic home, the kit blends modern performance technology with a nostalgic nod to the stadium’s Art Deco elegance, creating a shirt rich in heritage and crafted for today’s game.
Design and Technical Features
The Arsenal 2025-2026 third kit features a refined off-white base, paired with dark red and gold detailing. A classic white polo collar and matching cuffs are accented with fine red and golden stripes, echoing vintage football aesthetics while retaining a sleek, contemporary look. Across the shoulders, adidas’ signature three-stripes appear in dark red, completing the club’s traditional palette with subtle sophistication.
Crafted from 100% recycled polyester, the shirt incorporates adidas’ HEAT.RDY technology to ensure breathability and comfort during high-intensity matches. The fabric itself is jacquard-engineered, featuring an all-over tonal graphic inspired by Highbury’s distinctive façade and Art Deco architecture. A heat-applied cannon crest and the return of the adidas Trefoil logo, first reintroduced in last season’s third kit, add premium finishing touches.
History and Inspiration
Highbury was more than a stadium – it was an architectural landmark, famed for its unique Art Deco design and intimate atmosphere. The 2025-2026 third kit celebrates the 20th anniversary of Arsenal’s final campaign there, weaving elements of its iconic façade and period detailing into the shirt’s design.
The colour palette draws inspiration from the club’s 2007-09 away kit, which similarly embraced a heritage look. Inside the collar, a bespoke sign-off showcases Highbury’s exterior, designed to inspire a new generation of Arsenal supporters who know the stadium only through stories and folklore.
Usage and Debut
The third kit will make its debut in select domestic and European fixtures throughout the 2025-26 season. It has been launched alongside a wider campaign highlighting Arsenal’s history and heritage, with players such as Jurrien Timber sharing their thoughts on its significance. “We all know how much Highbury means to our supporters,” Timber said. “Wearing this kit is a way of honouring that history while inspiring the next generation of Arsenal supporters.”
