ACF Fiorentina has revealed its striking new fourth kit for the 2024-25 season, created in collaboration with Italian sportswear brand Kappa® and luxury Florentine retailer LuisaViaRoma. Named the “Eternal Lily”, this special edition jersey celebrates Florence’s unique fusion of tradition, fashion, and football while presenting one of the club’s most distinctive designs to date.
Design and Technical Features
The 2024-25 special kit showcases a bold purple-to-black gradient that flows seamlessly from the shoulders to the hem, blending Fiorentina’s signature colour with a modern edge. The shirt features a classic polo-style collar in deep purple, adding an elegant touch to the otherwise contemporary design.
Key elements include:
- Reflective silver Kappa logos and club crest, emphasising the jersey’s premium aesthetic.
- Centralised badge placement and front sponsorship from Mediacom, Fiorentina’s long-standing partner since 2019.
- KOMBAT™ PRO technology, developed by Kappa® to deliver lightweight performance, nylon-stretch stitching, and maximum freedom of movement.
The kit is completed with black shorts and socks, providing a sleek and cohesive match-day look.
History and Inspiration
The “Eternal Lily” collection takes its name from Florence’s iconic fleur-de-lis emblem – a historic symbol of the city and a defining element of Fiorentina’s identity. The design represents the seamless connection between Florence’s rich heritage and its reputation as a hub for fashion and innovation.
By partnering with LuisaViaRoma, one of the world’s leading luxury retailers, Fiorentina and Kappa® have elevated the traditional football shirt into a statement piece, merging high-performance sportswear with contemporary Italian style.
Usage and Debut
This limited-edition kit will make its official debut on Sunday, February 2, 2025, when Fiorentina face Genoa in Serie A. Only 1,926 units have been produced – a number that pays tribute to the club’s founding year – and each shirt will be available at a retail price of €150.
Did You Know?
- The number 1,926 not only matches the club’s founding year but also marks one of the smallest production runs for a Fiorentina jersey.
- LuisaViaRoma previously collaborated with Fiorentina on exclusive lifestyle drops, but this is the first full match-worn kit developed through the partnership.
- The reflective silver detailing is designed to catch stadium lights, creating a subtle shimmer effect during evening matches.
