AC Milan 2025/26 Fourth Kit by Puma x Slam Jam: A Contemporary Take on Rossoneri Heritage

The AC Milan 2025/26 Fourth Kit, created in collaboration with Puma and Slam Jam, represents a distinctive chapter in the club’s evolving visual identity. Positioned at the intersection of football heritage and urban culture, the special edition release reinterprets archival references through a modern design language. Unveiled as part of a broader capsule collection, the Puma x Slam Jam x AC Milan Fourth Kit merges performance innovation with streetwear aesthetics, reinforcing Milan’s global positioning beyond the pitch.

Design and Technical Features

The AC Milan 2025/26 Fourth Kit is available in two striking colourways: deep red and sleek silver. Both versions are offered in short- and long-sleeve formats, expanding their appeal across performance and lifestyle contexts.

The red edition features a bold glossy finish with contrasting black side panels and sleeves, complemented by a black fold-over collar that echoes early 2000s silhouettes. The silver version adopts a metallic, reflective fabric with red and black trim detailing on the collar and sleeve cuffs, delivering a futuristic interpretation of the Rossoneri palette.

On both shirts, the Puma logo appears in black on the right chest, balanced by the traditional AC Milan crest on the left, complete with the gold star above — a symbol of the club’s domestic success. The main sponsor, Emirates Fly Better, is centrally positioned, maintaining consistency with the club’s 2025/26 match kits.

Inside the collar, a distinctive detail reinforces the collaborative identity: the tagline “Slam Jam – Chaos is Order – 1899.” The reference to 1899 marks the club’s founding year, while the phrase reflects Slam Jam’s conceptual approach to contemporary culture.

Matching red shorts and red socks with black accents complete the full Fourth Kit configuration, ensuring visual coherence on matchday.

History and Inspiration

The design draws inspiration from late 1990s and early 2000s AC Milan kits, particularly the 2001/02 third shirt, revisiting bold colour blocking and structured silhouettes. At the same time, the collaboration introduces avant-garde elements aligned with Slam Jam’s reputation as a pioneer in European streetwear.

Founded in 1989 in Ferrara by Luca Benini, Slam Jam has become an internationally recognised platform for urban subculture. Its partnership with AC Milan reflects the club’s ongoing dialogue with fashion and contemporary creative industries.

The project also connects to the founding vision of Herbert Kilpin, whose declaration that Milan would be “a team of Devils” remains central to the club’s identity. The iconic Diavolo continues to serve as a unifying symbol, bridging generations of supporters worldwide.

By merging archival cues with progressive design, the 2025/26 Fourth Kit operates as both a performance garment and a cultural statement.

Usage and Debut

Rather than opting for a traditional launch campaign, AC Milan introduced the 2025/26 Slam Jam Fourth Kit directly on the pitch. The team debuted the kit during a Serie A fixture against Parma, presenting the design in a live competitive setting before its official retail release.

This unconventional unveiling strategy aligned with the project’s disruptive ethos. The kit was made available for purchase starting 25 February 2026, marking its transition from matchday exclusive to global retail product.

The on-field debut reinforced the garment’s dual identity: rooted in elite competition while embedded in contemporary lifestyle culture.
